Register page not working properly?

To register it asks for username and email and no password

i used my hotmail email but got no verification email so i could not log in so what i had to do was try to log in then use the lost password reset to actually set a password

Spam folder? I'll have a look but I think it should be working.

Had the same issue, glad I stumbled upon this post as I was wondering how the hell I was going to login..

Your registration email got tagged as spam? Or did you have to reset your password to get the email?

I had to use the password reset feature, I checked the spam box, i waited like 20 mins to see if maybe the mail relays were being slow. Had I not stumbled upon this post I would probably never had thought to try it with password reset

I found a setting that had deactivated sending out "welcome" emails, this problem should be no more. Thank you for the report!
