Flash RX 7900 xtx with 1.8v adapter and soic8

hi @elmor, I would like a clarification on using Evc2se with the 1.8v adapter and SOIC8 test clip.

Adapter 1.8v

The left side is for 24x roms and the right side is for 25x or am I wrong? on the card there is no wording explaining how it should be inserted.

To flash RX 7900 xtx how should i connect the soic8 to 1.8v adapter? The card has 25x rom

Hello, on this adapter only the top 8 pins (top 4 each side) are routed to the output cabling for SPI/"25x" ROMs. You can check the IC pinout and EVC2 board markings on the bottom to make sure it's wired correctly.
