This collaboration between der8auer and ElmorLabs is intended to introduce you to the world of electrical engineering through soldering and circuit design. It’s an electronics project that consists of a PCB coaster with functional circuitry. By soldering the included components to the board you will have created a functional electronic item. There are dedicated components and PCB locations for you to practice your soldering without affecting the functional circuit. The microcontroller on the board is pre-programmed with the firmware that handles dynamic functionality, such as what happens when the button is pressed. The full schematic, layout and firmware is available for you to download and review.

Note: In order to complete this project you will need a soldering iron, solder and a tweezer which are not included.
