In order for the PMD product to be able to measure the full power consumption of a graphics card it’s also necessary to account for the power provided through the PCI-E slot. Therefore we’ve created this PCI-E adapter card that allows you to provide the slot power from an external source through a 6-pin PCIe connector. The adapter is rated for PCI-E 4.0 (x16 lanes at Gen 4 speeds). It also has an on-board regulator for the 3.3V and 3.3VA rails in order to include these rails in the external power measurement.

The adapter is rated for PCI-E 4.0 (x16 lanes at Gen 4 speeds).
