Description

The ElmorLabs UPF is a versatile USB-powered fan adapter suitable for a range of cooling needs. Designed to work with any common USB power source, it offers 5V, 9V, and 12V voltage settings. With two switches, users can easily select voltage and set PWM duty to 30%, 60%, or 100%, making it perfect for operating a fan when the PC is off or if placed remotely. Package includes only the assembled PCB; fans and USB power supply sold separately.

The required voltage is negotiated with the USB power supply meaning to use 9V or 12V for the fan, the USB power supply has to be capable of outputting it. The output is protected with a resettable fuse rated for 3A continuous current.
